Astelin is available to us in a form of nasal spray that must be taken as per your doctor's prescription. It is usually taken once or twice a day for growth in the nose. Remove the cap gently and close one of your nostrils by finger. Gently press the injector so that the solution enters in your nose. Breath in gently through your nose and breath out through your mouth so that solution enters smoothly inside your nasal passage. To prevent a bitter taste of medicine in your mouth, breathe in gently and do not tilt your head after using medicine. Do not increase your dose or take it more often than prescribed as this may also increase the risk of side effects without any improvement in your condition. Discuss all the other medicines that you might be taking along with Astelin for the same or different reasons. Follow the medical prescription carefully and inform your doctor in case of any exception or confusion.
